The 1997 Lumina sedan is available in three sedan models - (Base) Lumina, LS and the all new LTZ sport sedan (available at a later date). The LTZ model was designed to broaden the Chevrolet market share for affordable midsized cars and to appeal to sportier buyers. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, AM/FM stereo, power door locks and tilt steering wheel. New standard equipment includes daytime running lights and engine oil wear sensors. The LS sedan includes four-wheel ABS brakes, aluminum wheels and AM/FM stereo with cassette. The LTZ includes custom cloth bucket seats with console, air dam and rear spoiler. Leather seats, power driver seat, AM/FM stereo with CD and a 3.4 liter V6 engine are options on the LS and LTZ sedan.
