Social media marketing for small businesses

I have experience editing for the web and print. I've completed large editing projects for foreign firms entering the U.S. market. Years ago I worked as the editor-in-chief of a weekly publication in California. I've written features, news and arts pieces for community magazines and citizen journalism websites in Minneapolis.

I'm extremely comfortable with technology and social media. In fact I currently manage my social media presence and curate my online reputation using the following tools:

In the past I have worked full-time as an immigration paralegal, so I also have some background in both immigration and administrative law.

I've traveled in Central America through Belize, Guatemala, Mexico and recently lived for 6 months in Panama (A top destination for 2012 according to the NY Times and NatGeo Traveler!) I've also traveled in Ireland, Scotland, England, France, and Italy. I've written advice for travelers in those countries on my own blog and others.
