I've been a pet owner all my life. I adore animals and try to see things from their perspective to keep them as happy as possible. I worked as a veterinary technician in my early twenties and have done home care for chronic and critically ill cats, so I'm comfortable with pilling, subcutaneous fluids, shots and assist / syringe feeding. I have the most experience with cats, but I grew up with dogs and love them just as much. I've also lived with snakes, lizards, birds and tarantulas and would be happy to care for them as well.
