1970s Vintage Fairyland BAMBI AND THUMPER CERAMIC FIGURINE

You are bidding on a 1970's Bambi and Thumper figurine. The label on the bottom says A Fairyland Import Handpainted Japan. It is in nice condition with some very tiny flaws -- a barely noticeable speck here and there that I believe are part of the original hand painting. There are some tiny chips too, that look to me as if they have always been part of the figurine rather than something that came later. Bambi has a small scratch on his back leg that I wouldn't have noticed had I not been looking for flaws. The bottom is a little bit dirty with age. There is also something very small that is loose in the hollow underside of the figurine. It makes a sound if you move it around. I couldn't get it out, but a more determined soul might have more luck.

When looking at the figurine as you would when admiring it on a shelf, it looks shiny and in excellent condition. It is only when going over it with a fine tooth comb that any imperfections are seen. Email me if you'd like to see more pictures.
