Would you like to be able to judge a film on its artistic merits but don't know how? Are you in a film history class where mise-en-scène comes in a glossary? I was fortunate to learn mise-en-scène in a beginner's class in high school and then have it reinforced by an instructor from the Chicago Film Critic's Association. While I have no educational credentials, I do have experience working with teens and young adults.
