Face A: Quadratic, depiction of Summer
Face B: Quadratic, depiction of Winter and a scale from 1°- 80°
Face C: Quadratic, horizontally lies the compass. Compass needle is not the original.
Compass rose, richly decorated and ornamented - clearly visible and signed.
The Compass rose is hand-painted and the original.
Lock is the original.
Face D: lid of the compass box, material is ivory, lying deep within a „frame“
