This is an extremely rare a code car. It was only produced for 1 year. It has a 302 cubic inch bored .30 over with a c-4 transmission. It has dealer installed air which works as does the heat, the ragtop is new and is electrically operated. It has a nice stereo.The interior has been completely redone. It took me 30 years to find this car. I purchased it in Houston and drove it home. The car has no bondo but my ex wife backed into the driver side 1/4 panel. I took it to a former "friend" that is excellent with this type of repair but he has yet to complete the job due to bad women and drinking. The wiring has all been replaced as well as the front end,gas tank,exhaust etc.etc.. Unfortunately I paid my" friend "up front to fix it and it has been almost 2 years and not done yet. It has been stored inside so the elements have not damaged it. This vehicle attracts attention wherever it goes. It is an exceptionally nice cruiser. I am getting ready to go get the car but do not have a place to store it inside and this is the only reason I have not picked it up before now. I would rather trade it than allow it to sit outside. I believe this to be the 3rd best looking Mercury ever made behind the 49 and 50 merc. This vehicle is so rare they do not even have a die cast model for it however there are still many many parts available for the car. Once the repair is complete it will be worth approx 40-45k. I paid 18,000 for the car when I got it. I am looking to trade the car for a Harley but no Sportsters. Maybe even a jeep wrangler. I can be reached at r by e-mail. Rick
