Handmade Clay Cake

Miniature clay cake made of polymer clay from Japan. It decorated with 3 open red roses and some bulbs. This square cake measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm height (approximately).

This is a handmade clay cake. I used tool to press the clay to make it thin and flat and cut 6 petals, gather the petals, let it dry before gluing them on the top of green leaves. The bulbs are a lot easier, I just roll a petals.

The clay I used is an air-dried clay. It is not edible, of course ;). It will break or whatever, just don't soak it in water or put under direct sunlight.

I sell this online and in store, clients bought it as gifts or put a magnet on the back. I myself put one in my car. Temperature inside the car are very high and always under direct sunlight, it still looks good. After about 2+ years, color faded out a bit only.
