I am a toLabor (formerly ALACE) trained birth assistant. I primarily provide physical and emotional comfort measures for laboring women although part of my role is to be available as a resource throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period. Most of the couples I work with are attempting a natural birth in a hospital environment although I am supportive of many different birth choices that contribute to happy parents and a healthy baby.
