1991 Collectible Bear Set from the Battenburg Bear line of Bearly People. #BBMR is are Beau and Tessy. Artist is Cheryl Barnert.
Each is hand sewn and crafted in the USA; 16" tall. They are jointed and pose-able to sit or stand.
They sport light brown fur and are dressed in dark blue/black matching outfits that are accented with a delicate pink floral print.
Beau's romper set includes a crisp white long sleeved poet's shirt and handsome tie.
Tessy's dress is full length and matches the floral pattern with an under-skirt peek-a-boo of white eyelet lace. The lace is repeated on her apron and hat.
He carries a picnic basket and her clutch is a pink satin heart filled with sachet. Matching hats and her pearl earrings emphasize this artist's attention to detail.
