Chemistry Tutor, Writing Tutor

My name is Justin Pennington Paterson, and I am a 22-year-old pre-medical student, currently working on a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. I am a serious student of science, history, and english, and if there is one thing I enjoy more than learning, it is helping other people learn. I currently hold group study sessions at school every Thursday for introductory inorganic chemistry, so I have experience in tutoring chemistry. As far as my writing goes, I have taken all of the college english requirements, have written countless papers, have been accepted for employment as a tutor at the Writing Center at Georgia Perimeter College, and would be more than happy to provide essays, transcripts, and documents to verify these claims.

As far as my personality goes, I consider myself a friendly altruist, a hardworking scholar, a family-oriented Christian. I believe in honesty and hard work; doing for others and bettering one's self. I work very hard at my studies, thrive in academia, and derive great satisfaction in helping others to do the same. The saying, "Knowledge is power." could not be more true. Obtaining full comprehension of a given concept can be one of the most satisfying experiences in life; however, sometimes we need a little help. To make this a reality is the service I am offering. My approach to tutoring is one of patience, compassion, understanding, reciprocal exchange, and the most intricate and tedious breakdown of the subject matter in question. For, it is through employment of these methods that I have seen great leaps of progress amongst my tuutees.
