Drum Kit Instruction

Learn how to play the drum kit. It's not as hard as it looks and is a great way to improve your mental and physical agility.

For adults, drumming can decrease stress and anxiety. For kids, drumming can increase pattern recognition skills (great for math and problem solving), and help develop agility skills.

Private drum kit classes are held in our studio setting where both the instructor and the student each have a set of drums to work on. There is lots of interaction between instructor and student including demonstration and execution of rhythmic patterns, vocalizations, and breathing exercises.

For advanced students, increase your independence of hands, feet and voice. Learn different styles of drumming including the latest techniques for integrating traditional percussion forms into a drum kit setting.
