Marcus is an international leader and entrepreneur in media & entertainment, business development, and management consulting. Marcus recently came out of retirement to focus primarily on philanthropic efforts including his foundation 'Red Shoe Planet' inspired by his son's love for the red Ferrari puma shoes. Marcus remains selectively involved in the film and new media industry through Red Shoe Productions and advisory positions with web 2.0 / new media investment funds.

Prior to recently launching the Red Shoe family of companies, Marcus led corporate and business development globally for the leading Indian (Bollywood) Media & Entertainment company Eros International. He led Eros’ joint venture and acquisition initiatives, film slates, film funds, new media group, Hollywood co-productions and English-language film acquisitions with partners including Sony, Lionsgate, Universal Music and Warner Brothers.

Prior to Eros, Marcus served as CEO of Saffron Media, EVP of Marketing & Subscriber Acquisition for and CEO of HarrisonGray, a global advisory services firm providing strategic business consulting and capital solutions to Global 2000 companies including Goldman Sachs, Invesco, Intel, First Data, Verizon, and Tokyo Electric.

Prior to HarrisonGray, Marcus worked in the investment banking and management consulting industries with Goldman Sachs, Andersen Consulting and Diamond Technology Partners.
Marcus has served as an investment banker and interim turn-around executive to numerous growth stage technology, mobility and entertainment ventures. Marcus has spoken at numerous conferences around the world and been interviewed for CNBC, Crain’s NY, Forbes, The Guardian, Consultants News, NY Times and WSJ.
