I am a retired NY state elementary school teacher and local entertainer, singer/songwriter with critically acclaimed CDs. My approach is to find how and what each individual student wants to learn. I do not have my own agenda in that regard. I serve the student, I do not preach. It is not a requirement, for instance, to learn to read music. At least 6 of my former students have gone on to become singer/songwriters themselves.
