Skin Care/Makeup artist, event planner

I have worked in the salon industry for almost 20 years. I have extensive background in makeup and skin care. I have done make up for weddings, proms, pageants, fashion shows and various other events. I have taught classes for pre teens at barbizon and taught private classes in skin care and make up for pre teens and adults. I worked briefly and part time for lancome while working on the build out for my second salon. I have hosted events with 20 or more people teaching how to apply their make up for day time, night time and events such as stage, photo and other things where makeup needs to be adjusted for the best results.

I can also plan and oversee events through to fruition. I have hosted many events of my own in salon and out of salon at other venues. I have hosted Thanksgiving dinner at my home for charity for the Mystc Krewe of Apollo organization as well as hosted their Dine and Do event for charity. I hosted a tour of business in the loft district in downtown Birmingham. I have also coordinated and hostess intimate cocktail parties and dinner parties for individuals wanting to have small business meetings in their homes or other locations. I am currently involved with company that is launching in September in the Birmingham area that will be event and adventure based.
